Shoes Anyone?

Ok guys I promised you the Shoe Blog and its here! I always start an outfit from the shoes up. If you have a fierce shoe you can wear $20 jeans a $5 shirt and look like you stepped out in a million dollar outfit. Trust me its about the shoes. Ask any fashionista what they look at first on a man and there going to say HIS SHOES! It so true, so of course I’m going to help my ladies because shopping for women is my specialty! I’m gonna hit the basics and you can play them into your own personal style.

  Satin pumps- adds a smooth finish to bare legs.

  Pointy Toe Pumps- one of my favorites and my closet is full of them. A classic that never goes out of style.
• 
  Leopard pumps- screams I am sexy hear me roar or should I say pure.

  Exotic skins- these are my favorite! Its fun, sexy, and gives you a great excuse to live on the wild side.
• 
  Nude shoe- adds length to your legs. If your skin is darker like mine pick a shoe that’s close to your skin tone.
• 
  Platforms- really popular this season and it helps elongate any leg.

  Mary-Jane’s - are still in and perfect for church wear. Cant help for singing the Rick James song when I talk about this shoe.
• 
  Knee high boots- are a must for fall and winter. Pair with mini skirts or jeans and you cant go to wrong.
• 
  Booties- a cute and fun spin on boots. Haven’t found the perfect pair for me but when I do I’m never letting go.

  Slouchy Boots- a laid back casual boot, still stylish.
  
• 
  Patent Leather- is another must, it adds shine and polish to any ensemble.
  

Them Damn Banshees!!!!

LORD please help me stay sane. I don’t wanna go to jail tonight and Jesus you know I love kids and would never want any harm to come to any of them but I really don’t want to have any , Amen.
Ok I just had to say a quick prayer before I started my topic because prayer does work. Every time I catch myself babysitting my niece Asia and nephew Cameron it’s like I have to put on armor and go to war. I really don’t hate kids but damn why are they Bebes Kids. I’m serious banshees is not for me. They fuss and fight, mess things up, spill shit, cry, make other random noises, complain, want and whine UHH! I need a drink right now to cope. I just had to separate the two of them because they were fighting about Asia’s pants being turned the wrong way. Little simple crap like that gets on my nerves, partly because I wasn’t blessed with the most patients in the world. If God does see fit for me to have a child (2 is my def max) then he will definitely have to send a bundle of patience along with the baby, otherwise I don’t need anything close to a child. If your reading this and have kids “best wishes, and u have my deepest sympathy” because kids are too much work. Pray for me, my strength, and my sanity because Lord knows I need it!

Troubles Go Away

Today was a rainy boring day. I slept until the afternoon/ evening and when I got up it hit me that my holiday vacation was over and all my problems came back to stare me dead in the face. Some people deal with there problems head on but I run from a lot of mine until they trip me up. Why do I do that? I guess I’ll never know but I’m not ready to deal with them still. I heard someone say when you feel like giving up don’t because it means a blessing is coming your way. I really hope that is true. I kinda believe it because I have seen it happen before but my human side takes over and I crave the instant fix to my problems. I know everyone has problems and no matter how bad I think mine are there is always someone who is going through worst but they stay on my mine constantly. I talk to my friends and they say its gonna work out. I pray and feel better for that moment only for my problems and constant worries to come back. I feel like I’m losing my mind and I cant stop it. I want it to go away. Am I the only person going through something like this? Any advice?

Because of my wonderful addiction I have acquired quit the knowledge about fashion, great steals, what’s n style and amazing places to shop! Real Love...

I have no idea why I have made this decision to poor my heart out on this blog, but at this very moment with tears in my eyes I realized that Nicey J needs a change. For the past couple of months I really haven’t been that happy, but instead I have been un-focused, irritated, angry, emotional, and [excuse my French] but shit just hasn’t been going right. Maybe it is the bad relationship I’m in again after promising myself no more, or it could possibly be the fact that I feel like something is missing in my life. I’m not sure what I am really missing, but I do know I haven’t been in love . Yes that’s right Nicey J has never been in love, but let me clarify that for those who may know me and say I’m lying. Nicey J has never been involved in a romantic relationship, in love, and being loved back. I think that’s what’s eating away at me, I want, no better yet, I need that equal give and take love more then anything right now. I spend my life watching others falling in and out of love and it makes me sick to my stomach. Some may say its jealousy, but it's not , it's more like when is it going to happen for me? I grew up watching that unconditional love; the love that allows you to fuss and fight one day but still love one another the next. I want that love that makes me feel safe and happy. I have never had that before and I have constantly tried to make that happen in the past. I loved this guy so much, that if he asked me right here and now to marry him, I would. The sad truth is I know he wont ask because his feelings aren’t the same for me. That very sentence cuts deeper then any titanium steel blade ever could. Now I don’t want people to read this and think that Miss Nicey_J needs a man to complete herself or make her happy. I have family and friend who put a smile on my face at least once a day but I am human and like every other living thing I need love to survive. I long for that partner love that makes you happy to just see a rainy day. Getting slightly off topic, I would like to send a special thanks to that wonderful lady, Miss Mary J Blige, because it was her song “Real Love” that mended my broken heart and assured me that I am not the first nor the last women to go thru this. My favorite line in that song is a verse that sounded like many prayers that I have prayed…… “So I try to pray to God he’ll send me someone real. To caress me and to guide me towards a love my heart can feel.” Thank you so much Mary it's amazing how a 3 minute song can make someone feel a hell of a lot better. (Smile) I am searching for my real love and I will find him, because there is no other option. Comment and tell me what you do when your feeling down.

OH YES, A CHANGE HAS COME!

OMG I’M SO HAPPY. This moment is one of the best days in my life, and I am so happy to be able to see it. The feeling is overwhelming and I am even a bit in shock. One of the first people I called when Barack Obama was announced President was my 90 year old grandmother. She is my everything and to know that she grew up in the time were blacks were killed for just trying to register to vote, made me emotional and so appreciative of how far America has come. I cant even put my feelings and words into sentences but on this day November the 5th when “WE” look at the faces of our young black kids and say “you can be what ever you want to be” it will not be a lie or just some type of cliché. Black people have been told that we were the worst of the worst, and now we have a black family to look up to and say YES WE CAN! Right now my heart is heavy and happy so I’ll leave with this……..GO OBAMA, A CHANGE HAS AND IS COMING!

This is something that I feel very very strong about and I encourage everyone to exercise your right to VOTE. For many people this is the first time, I know that it’s mine, and I am one of many who voted early. Seriously GO VOTEEEEE. If you don’t use your voice now then it’s no reason to complain later! I don’t care what your excuse is, there is none, JUST GO VOTE! PLEASE! THIS IS SOO IMPORTANT . AMERICA NEEDS A CHANGE, and no I’m not pushing just for BARACK voters even though he has my vote; I am pushing for voters in general, but DO VOTE OBAMA, LOL! Girl Talk …Oh How Therapeutic

I recently just finished chit chatting with one of my girls about relationships and the stress that they bring. We both had a chance to vent and lay how we felt on the table, and have someone respect it. Both of us are in relationships where we just don’t know what the future holds, maybe a possible break-up if shit doesn’t improve. The discussion was so good and we didn’t get a chance to finish it but I’m sure we will later because our men will continue to create topics and discussions. My point is, is that there is nothing better than having a good “girl” friend(s) to lean on when time are hard and your heart is heavy.
